Hi,
I am looking at securing a year long policy because I travel to the U.S.
frequently for work. I am looking at the global medical platinum policy because my husband and I are looking to become pregnant in the next couple of months and I see that this is the only plan that has any coverage. Is there a waiting period for pregnancy with this plan? What are the details? I want to make sure I am even eligible before purchasing a full year of coverage and not having anything covered. I am a MX citizen, but I live just across the border. I travel to San Diego and sometimes L.A. for my job and am here for a couple of weeks every couple of months.
Thank you!
Danielle

Dear Sirs/Madams,
My colleague, his spouse and his child are USA citizens. They work in China for more than 1 year. As they have family in USA, they need to visit their family in USA from time to time. Our company would like to buy the travel insurances or any insurance plan for their USA insurance coverage in case they have any illness and operations in USA trips. Their ages are as follows:
Hi,
I have a visitor who is a US citizen and resides in Pakistan and wants to travel to UAE. My visitor is 80 yrs old. Does your company have an appropriate plan for him?
Thanks,
Mariam
Dear Mariam,
Thank you for contacting us at American Visitor Insurance for yourUS visitor medical insurance needs!
Here are the links for the policy we spoke about over the phone:

Hi,
I am a US citizen living in France. I would appreciate a yearly medical coverage for travel worldwide. My DoB is 13/10/1946 and I prefer paying in US$. My home address is Port Washington, NY but as mentioned above, I live in France and travel all over the world.
Your earliest reply and offer would be much appreciated.
Sincerely,
Peter
Dear Peter,
It sounds from your email that you would benefit from a global health insurance plan. It works anywhere in the world you travel. These plans are not guaranteed, and you must fill out an extensive application with all your medical history in it. The company may (1) reject your application, (2) accept your application, or
(3) accept your application with additional riders. I will put information below on a very good set of plans and then put a general link so you can browse other
options at the end of the email. The Global Medical Policies offered by IMG are excellent and popular choices for long term international insurance. The policy will cover you while you are traveling outside your home country of citizenship as well as in your home country. The advantage of a global health policy is that once you are accepted
onto the plan, you are guaranteed coverage year after year and the only price increase will be due to age (they cannot increase your rate due to a new health
issue).
The Global Medical Silver plan is a fixed plan which may work well in countries where medical costs are low. The Global Medical Gold, GoldPlus, and Platinum are comprehensive policies. The Global Medical Gold can be renewed for more than three years, however, in the fourth year, benefits are reduced. For continuous coverage after the third year, you should choose the Global Medical Gold Plus plan. The Global Medical Platinum offers complete medical coverage even for maternity costs.
For a brochure of the plan and to purchase or get a quote for the policy, use the link below: (Please note that you will choose how you want to pay (monthly, quarterly, biannually, or annually) at the beginning of the application and you will not be able to change this later) use the link below:
Hi,
We are trying to buy international insurance and are having a problem with the passport option. My boyfriend submitted his application at the consulate together with the passport. We do not have the passport number at hand and the moment and would like to know if there is any other information we can provide (like social security) that would allow us to make this purchase as soon as possible.
We need this in order for him to get the visa and need to submit it to them tomorrow.
I hope you can see my message and respond as soon as you can. Your help is very appreciated.
Thank You,
Angela Medina
Dear Angela,
Thank you for your email.
Yes, you can purchase the international insurance using a social security number, and can later get the insurance document endorsed with the correct passport number by sending us the details by email.

Hi,
I am an American living in Germany. If I buy a dental plan, will I be covered here? If not, could you possibly recommend a stand-alone dental plan that would cover me in Germany?
Thank you kindly,
Charlie D
Dear Charlie,
We do not offer a stand-alone dental plan. The Global Medical plans which are long term plans do offer dental and vision as riders to their plans (included in the Platinum plan). You can compare global travel insurance, but they are meant for at least one year coverage.
Here are links for global health insurance policies in case they may apply:

Dear Brian,
Thank you for contacting us at American Visitor Insurance for your visitor medical insurance needs to visit the US!
. If you can spend 6 months or less in the USA then we can suggest the Global Medical series.
1. Global Medical Platinum/Gold/Silver:
The Global Medical series is an excellent range of plans. Platinum providing the most extensive coverage and Silver providing more limited coverage. To be eligible for this plan non-US citizens holding a Greencard and electing coverage in the US only with no travel back to home country must not be in any way eligible for any domestic insurance.
There are some USA Covid travel insurance plans available for travel that cover covid19 as a new illness. International travelers can compare best Covid travel insurance plans and buy it online. These US covid travel insurance plans are available for visitors to the US, US citizens and US residents traveling abroad as well as non US travelers traveling outside their home country.
It is important to be aware that the domestic health insurance of your home country usually does not provide coverage while outside your countries borders. As a foreign citizen, an expatriate will not be eligible for local subsidized medical care. Another very important factor is the varying price of healthcare in different parts of the world. It should be noted that the quality and price of healthcare can vary significantly even within a country. It is therefore important to have good worldwide health insurance so that you can access quality healthcare wherever you are currently residing.
You have a broad range of international medical insurance options. There are basic fixed benefit plans which provide a fixed coverage for different medical treatments which suffice for basic health care, there are also comprehensive global health insurance options which provide extensive healthcare cover up to the policy medical maximum up to 8 million US Dollars. Along with medical coverage, there are also options for preventive care, vision, dental benefits as well as medical evacuation.
Following are some benefits that are are covered by the international medical insurance:
